Our Journey

We are planning to spend about 5 years circumnavigating in multiple phases.  Phase 1 begins August 1st, 2023.  We will be traveling from Chicago to Buffalo NY.  In Buffalo, we will take the mast down, bundle it up and put it on a truck to meet back up with it in the Catskills.  We will travel under power back through the Erie Canal through several locks and quaint towns.  Once we have the mast back up, we will head down the Hudson river and out through NYC to the Atlantic Ocean.  The first season will be spent in the Bahamas, where we will continue to complete upgrades and get a feel for anything that needs to be changed before heading to the Caribbean in Phase 2.
